This community exists because of the time, energy, resources, and care that go into holding it. Financial contributions allow us to maintain the structures, spaces, and offerings that support meaningful work—while also making it possible for those with fewer resources to still be here.

We recognize that financial reality is complex. Income alone doesn’t tell the full story—factors like cost of living, dependents, debt, access to resources, and life circumstances all shape what is truly available to give. We trust each member to consider their situation with honesty and integrity.

The sliding scale is designed to redistribute access:  Those with more contribute more, helping to support those who are able to give less. In this way, the community remains both accessible and sustainable.
