Why we do what we do
Mission
To grow communities that benefit and thrive from informed, disciplined, safe and responsible use of sacraments.
SGC offers its Practitioners the opportunity to connect with the Divine through intentional, respectful, and caring practice with entheogenic sacraments. Specifically, SGC facilitates direct experience of and relationship to Divine presence for individuals and community, and life integration of the benefits this experience and relationship can bring.
Vision
A world where the way is opened for everyone to directly experience divine presence within this lifetime.
SGC envisions growing diverse, thriving, wise individuals and communities. Specifically, SGC envisions individual and community growth in respect, care, trust and integrity, within which our own lives and all of our relationships are consecrated through direct experience of and relationship to Divine presence.
Our Core Values
Care
Compassion and softness; inviting and supporting each other to bring the best parts of ourselves to the community. Embodying the fullest expression of love, the divine, and Truth as they are uniquely and directly experienced and integrated by each community Practitioner.
Respect
Honoring each other, the spaces we curate, and the work it takes for us to exist in them. Working within the awareness of humanity’s inalienable connection to and emergence from Nature, while also recognizing the sovereignty of each individual and community within our shared Unity of Nature.
Trust
The active belief that, through our work, we will witness, support and hold space, in loving presence, for the absolute entirety of each individual’s process of awakening.

Wheel of Practice
The Fractal Wheel of Practice is our path to direct experience of the Divine
Practitioners of the SCG are committed to engaging formal religious practice as individuals and with community, grounded in SGC founders’ experience with traditional sacred practices and revealed Truth as well as in shared scientific insights into consciousness and direct experience of divinity. Together, our leaders and membership engage spiritually revealing ministry and practice.
The Wheel represents the fractal experience SGC guides its members along. Each spoke has been informed by generations of practice and heart-centered discussion. It is through these processes that we prepare for, facilitate, experience and integrate direct exposure to Truth as revealed by divine presence, assisted by the careful engaging of our church's sacraments.

Safety
Care, Respect and Trust are our core values
SGC encourages our community members to take responsibility for clearly communicating their needs and boundaries. If anything ever does not feel right, we encourage you to use immediacy to address it in the moment or ask for help addressing it from an SGC staff or facilitator. If you have an ethical concern or an adverse experience that you were not able to address, please check out our safety and harmony page for additional resources.
