SGC Launches BIPOC Scholarship Fund to Provide Access for Marginalized Communities

Sacred Garden Community (SGC) is proud to announce the launch of its BIPOC Scholarship Fund, a groundbreaking initiative that will provide access and support for members of color to participate in SGC sanctioned ceremonies. This scholarship fund represents an important step forward in bridging the gap between generations of racism and discriminatory practices, allowing those who have been historically marginalized to partake in activities normally inaccessible due to financial constraints. With this fund, SGC continues its mission of providing an inclusive and equitable environment for its members to connect with the divine.

The details of the fund are as follows: SGC will cover the expenses for selected members of color each month to take part in SGC sanctioned ceremonies. Eligible candidates must meet specific criteria, which includes providing proof of financial hardship and an active membership with SGC. Those awarded scholarships will receive a voucher that can be used towards attending ceremonies free of charge or at a reduced rate.

Our hope is that this fund will open up opportunities for members of color to connect with the divine through our shared faith, ethical agreements, and common practice. With this scholarship program in place, we look forward to welcoming more individuals from diverse backgrounds into Sacred Garden Community where they can find spiritual nourishment and community support.

Donate to our BIPOC Scholarship Fund and help us continue bridging the gap between those who have been historically marginalized.

Embracing Inclusivity: SGC Affinity Groups
